A Little about myself...

I have been occupying myself with birds of prey since I was the age of 12, mostly with Falcons. At the beginning I lost most of the birds that I was flying in the autumn, experiencing the disappointment of that, I decided to start breeding. I had my first breeding pair back in 1978, a pair of Saker Falcons which only produced unfertile eggs. I moved to Canada from the Old DDR (East Germany) in 1983, and systematically started to build a breeding project of big Falcons. By 1987 I had much success with Prairie Falcons. By 1991, I had bred Peregrine and Gyr Falcons. A dream that I have had since my childhood. Since then I have enlarged and improved my breeding facility. It hasn't been easy, many disappointments and hard lessons. I have come through and I am now breeding Falcons in Generation 2 and 3 with Natural copulation. I mainly breed for the sport of Falconry and other breeding projects. Since 1993 my project has been Cites Registered and has contributed to having my birds in over a dozen countries.
